Dan has been teaching guitar and bass for over 22 years. Graduating McNally Smith College of Music in 1992, he played in a few different projects, but focused primarily on teaching, and home recording. Using modern technology intertwined with traditional teaching methods. He likes to encourage students to play the music and songs they like, as well as teaching the basics that are needed to know. Rock, Heavy Metal, Blues, Jazz, Classical, and Country or anything else that is desired can be taught. Experience, patience, knowledge and a love of teaching and music, will guarantee every lesson worthwhile.
With each lesson being tailored to the individual student, there is no limit on what the student can learn. Students can even record professional sounding songs in the lesson while learning how to write and play their own music, plus learning to utilize various music software that is both affordable and easy to use.
From learning campfire songs all the way up to advanced lead techniques, theory, improvisation, figuring out songs by ear, and home recording, it can all be done. All levels, ages and styles are welcome.
